Prevention and education
Fire prevention is a priority for the Fire Department. Prevention starts at home and at work. We all have an important role to play in preventing fires.
The Fire Department also educates the public on topics such as evacuation procedures, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, barbecues, outdoor firepits and the Adopt-a-Fire-Hydrant program.
