What to do if you lose your dog

• Call the People for Animal Wellbeing at 961.0992, to know if your dog was picked up.
• Please note that fees are applicable to pick up the animal and that if the dog has not been picked up after four days, it will become property of the People for Animal Wellbeing.
• You can also check various community pages on social media regarding lost animals.

What to do if you find a stray dog

• Be careful around the animal.
• Check for an ID tag.
• If you can, put the dog in a safe and accessible area.
• Call the People for Animal Wellbeing at 506.961.0992. They will send an officer to the location to pick up the dog.

Important information

If a dog has injuries requiring urgent care or is infested with fleas, the veterinarian reserves the right to treat the animal. The owner will then have to pay for the treatment before getting the dog back.
