Wildlife
We are fortunate in Dieppe to be surrounded by nature, but this closeness also comes with the presence of wildlife. To avoid issues, it is best not to feed or approach wild animals.
Wildlife
If you encounter problems with a wild animal, such as a coyote, call a nuisance wildlife control operator certified by the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources. They will be able to help you. The municipality does not have the expertise to manage this type of situation.
Dead animals
The municipality will pick up any animal carcasses found on public property (streets and sidewalks), but municipal employees cannot intervene on private property, regardless of the circumstances. Animal carcasses found on private property can be dealt with by an extermination specialist.
