Notice of Public Meeting – January 20, 2025

Please be advised that there will be a standing committee meeting on strategies and public policies on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb.

The City of Dieppe wishes to inform you that water flow tests will be conducted in the Fox Creek Zone on Wednesday, January 15 or Thursday, January 16.
During this period, residents of the area may notice a slight drop in pressure and some water discolouration (brown water). If you notice any discolouration, simply let the tap run for three to five minutes.
These tests are necessary to obtain data for possible improvements to the municipal drinking water supply system.

Lane reduction on Acadie Avenue (January 7, 2025)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Acadie Avenue, between Marché and Alain-Gillette streets, on Tuesday, January 7. This lane reduction is necessary to allow for safe access to the construction site. The lane reduction will take place outside peak times.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
Dieppe: Construction Industry Works to Alleviate Housing Shortage

DIEPPE, N.B. — Like many municipalities across Canada, the City of Dieppe is facing housing challenges. The creation of more than 1,188 new housing units over the past year is welcome news for Mayor Lapierre. “Dieppe is strategically positioning itself to address its housing issues and needs,” he explains. “Our new 2025-2029 strategic plan focuses on sustainable development and prosperity, so that we can continue to develop as a city while also enhancing our green spaces.”
