Outdoor Skating Oval
The refrigerated skating oval is located at Place 1604, behind City Hall, and is open from December to March, even in mild weather. The rink is over 140 metres long and five metres wide (seven metres from end to end). Music is played all day long and the oval is lit up in the evening.

Rules
- The oval is for skating only. No sticks or pucks allowed.
- No skating is permitted when the oval is closed.
- No animals are allowed on the ice.
- The rink is unsupervised.
- All children aged 12 and under must wear a certified safety helmet.
- The City is not responsible for stolen or lost items.
- No one is allowed on the ice during maintenance work.
- Staff instructions must be followed at all times.
