The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre offers a wide variety of aquatic activities for all levels of physical ability.
Aquatic activities are open to participants of 16 years of age or older.
Aquafitness |
45-minute classesVertical aquatic exercises that focus on developing cardio, muscle, core and balance. Includes warm-up, cardio and strength training, followed by stretching and cool down. |
Deep Water Aquafitness |
45-minute classesSimilar to Aquafitness but takes place in the swimming pool for higher intensity. Includes warm-up, cardiovascular exercises, strength training and cool down. Aquafitness belt required and provided. |
Aquaspinning |
45-minute classesDone on stationary bikes in the water. This is a low-impact workout that strengthens cardio, upper body, back and core muscles. Suitable for all fitness levels. Aqua shoes are required. Bikes must be reserved in advance. This can be done at clic.dieppe.ca |
Aqua HIIT |
45-minute classesHIIT, short for High-Intensity Interval Training, is a training technique that involves intense bursts of exercise followed by short periods of recovery. Includes warm-up, cardio and strength training. |
Aqua Push-Push |
35-minute classes + 20 minutes free timeA 35-minute Aquafit workout with your baby (4-18 months) placed in a safe, comfortable floating chair, followed by 20 minutes of free time with your baby. |
Aqua Yoga |
Similar to Aquafitness but lower intensity and focuses on improving flexibility, reducing joint pressure and bone stress, increasing range of motion and increasing posture control. |
