Unveiling of the ImaginAIR Festival program
Dieppe, NB ‒ The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce the full program for the very first edition of the ImaginAIR Festival, which will take place from July 27 to 30.
Festivalgoers will have the chance to admire the talents of about 50 kite flyers, enjoy inflatable games and try out the disc golf course at Dover Park. Food vendors and outdoor music shows will be on site.
The program also offers many family activities, including an outdoor movie night and a dance night featuring electronic music at Place 1604. Candy showers, a giant water balloon fight, and a family picnic will also be offered at Dover Park.
Adults can also entertain themselves with the numerous food events held at the Wingate Hotel. For example, Chef Denis Pelletier will lead a gourmet BBQ workshop on Thursday evening. On Friday evening, comedian and parodist Geneviève Côté will take the stage. Then, on Saturday, discover the best wine and food pairings, courtesy of the hotel chef. Tickets for these activities are available at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre.
Not to be missed: the Bimana troop will perform with its giant puppets and solar balloons for the first time in Atlantic Canada. The traditional night flying will take place on Saturday evening, followed by fireworks.
Admission is $2 per person for activities being held at Dover Park only.
