Dieppe Launches its Summer Program
DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is pleased to present what promises to be an exciting summer program for residents and visitors alike! Classics such as the Wednesday Show, block parties and outdoor cinema will be back, to the delight of young and old. The municipality also has a few surprises in store, as well as something brand new!
“Whether it’s the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra, Le Groupe Swing and Les Gars du Nord at the Wednesday Show, or outdoor projections of Trolls Band Together, Ghostbusters and Mandibles, Dieppe has a full slate of activities for the whole family,” says Denis LeBlanc, Director of Community Development.
The ConneXion Zone will return to Place 1604, but in a revamped format featuring an exciting new theme every day of the week. With trivia, sports tournaments, multicultural gatherings and more, it’s THE place to be in Dieppe this summer! Come and explore Madagascar, test your knowledge of music trivia, or compete in a round of Jeopardi-eppe, based on the TV game show, Jeopardy. Show off your skills in the pickleball tournament or learn a new sport on Active Tuesday.
In June, the City will offer a captivating, two-day, light-filled event called Zorka, in collaboration with Les Productions FUSION. The month will end on a high note with celebrations surrounding Canadian Multiculturalism Day.
And don’t forget the big August 15 festivities, which are sure to impress with a line-up of popular performers. Well-known bands 1755, Réveil and La Bottine Souriante will share the stage with a host of special guests, including Dominique Dupuis, Izabelle Ouellet, Marc Babin and Chris Wheaton.
Doiron House also has a few surprises in store, including songwriters and guest speakers. Guided tours will be free once again this year. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this charming period house!
