The city invites residents to come and take one last photo inside the church to keep as a souvenir before the building is demolished.
Visits will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Interested parties are welcome to bring along mementos such as photos of the school, of the students and the teachers, etc.
The site will be redeveloped to make way for a future entry point to the Riverfront Trail from Dover Park. This project will improve network connectivity in the area and is in line with the extension of Dieppe Boulevard.
Note that there are no more objects inside the school and that the basement will not be accessible for safety reasons.
