Come and celebrate the joys of winter in Dieppe
DIEPPE, NB — The City will be offering a host of activities for residents from February 19 to 27 on the theme of outdoor fun: a snow-fort building contest, a scavenger hunt, and a wide range of ice sculptures, not to mention delicious Beaver Tail pastries!
“With the COVID-19 pandemic still going strong, we were looking for ways to get people outside to enjoy the benefits of nature,” said community worker Jonathan Desroches. “So, we thought about how magical winter and all that comes with it can be and came up with a variety of activities for residents,” he added.
Other options include snowshoe loans and tobogganing at Rotary St-Anselme Park, as well as skate and helmet loans at the refrigerated skating oval. Free hot chocolate will also be served.
