Work at the pumping station in the Industrial Park
DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe will soon undertake work at the pumping station in the Industrial Park that provides drinking water to several areas in the municipality.
Residents and businesses affected by the work are mainly located to the east of Industrial, Thomas, Fortune, Lafrance, Larochelle, Bonaventure and Wilfred streets, Marc-André Court and Bourque Road. Please refer to the map by clicking on the link below for more details. The work will take place on Thursday, September 21 at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Friday, September 22. In case of inclement weather, the work will be delayed to the next day.
The work consists mainly of replacing certain equipment and is essential to maintain the quality of service.
During this period, you may notice a drop in pressure and a slight colouration in the water. If this is the case, run your cold-water tap until the water becomes clear. Please also check the water colour before using your washing machine to avoid discolouring your laundry. Unless otherwise specified, coloured water does not pose any danger to your health.
If your building has an automatic sprinkler system, a drop in pressure may set off the alarm. We recommend that you contact your alarm system supplier to inform them of the work in your area.
We regret the inconvenience caused by this work and we thank you for your co-operation.
