Back to SearchDIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions and partial street closures on the following streets from June 25 to the end of July.
- Gauvin Road (between du Collège Street and Bras d’Or Avenue)
- Melanson Road (between Dieppe Boulevard and Rouse Street)
These changes to traffic patterns are necessary in order to allow for micro-surfacing work. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Micro-surfacing consists of adding a thin layer of asphalt overtop the existing asphalt. Micro-surfacing improves the road surface, helps preserve roads, extends their life span and saves money in the long run.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
