Lobster supper featuring Les Smouthes at Dieppe KITE International
DIEPPE, N.B. — Activities surrounding the very successful 8th Dieppe KITE International festival end tomorrow. A lobster supper and concert by Les Smouthes at 6 p.m. close out the festival at the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre (under the tent). Tickets are available in advance for $30 each at Jean Coutu in Dieppe and Shediac, Atlantic Superstore in Moncton and Riverview, Home Hardware in Memramcook, Higho Market in Saint-Antoine and online at billetterieacces.ca. Tickets are $40 each at the door.
Sunday’s regular schedule is as follows:
12 p.m.: Razzmatazz children’s show presented free of charge by Dr. Martin Braces.
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Kids’ Zone opens featuring inflatable games, face painting, balloon sculpting and much more. Also planned are kite-flying demonstrations, free flights, as well as the kite-making tent where youth can colour their kites and fly them on site.
1 p.m.: Busker Terrence Drake
2 p.m.: Busker Rani Huszar and Rokakku combat between professional kite flyers and festival partners.
3 p.m.: Acrobatic kite-flying demonstrations.
On Sunday only, Maritime Reptile Adventures will offer free shows with snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians and a tarantula at 1:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
