Dieppe to Host Information Session on Land Use Planning and Local Governance Reform
DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe will hold an information session on land use planning and development on Tuesday, December 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, located at 333 Acadie Avenue. The session is for residents who will be joining Dieppe as a result of local governance reform. There will be an open house followed by a presentation and question and answer period at 8 p.m.
The residents of the Local Service District (LSD) of Greater Lakeburn, as well as a portion of the residents of the LSD of Scoudouc, will be joining the City of Dieppe as of January 1, 2023. The change is a result of the provincial government's local governance reform.
The session will be facilitated by the consulting firm, Stantec, and is geared to allowing future residents to learn more about the proposed zoning changes and permitted uses.
Please note that the December 13 session will focus only on land use planning and development and that information on other topics (e.g., roads, taxes, etc.) will be shared at a later date.
