Back to SearchDIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to inform residents that it is carrying out the flushing of the water distribution system. Flushing is an important task to ensure the quality of our drinking water and is designated an essential service. This procedure cleans the inside of the pipes by removing accumulated sediment and stagnant water in the system.
In order to protect employees, measures such as physical distancing, sanitizing of tools and other procedures have been put in place.
During the procedure, it is possible that a slight drop in water pressure will occur along with some water discolouration. If you notice discolouration, allow the water to run from the faucet for three to five minutes.
