Flushing of the water distribution system

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise its residents that we are currently conducting the flushing of the water distribution system. Flushing is necessary for maintaining water quality. This procedure cleans the inside of the pipes by removing accumulated sediment and stagnant water in the system.

Flushing will take place until the end of June. It is possible that a slight drop in water pressure will occur along with some water discolouration for a short period of time while the work is being carried out in your neighborhood. If you notice discolouration, allow the water to run from the faucet for three to five minutes.
