Flushing of the water distribution system

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that it will be flushing the water distribution system starting Monday, April 8, 2024.

Indeed, spring-cleaning applies to water pipes, too, not just homes!

Flushing cleans the inside of the pipes, removes accumulated sediment and improves water quality.

Flushing will continue on weekdays until completed. During this period, there may be a slight decrease in pressure and a discolouration of the water. If you notice discolouration, simply let the tap run for three to five minutes.
