Return of the tree planting program “A tree for life”
DIEPPE, NB — The program “A tree for life” aimed at making Dieppe’s landscape greener and highlighting the birth of a child is back for a second edition. The City of Dieppe is proud to recognize the arrival of a child into the world by offering its family—free of charge—a tree that will grow alongside the child over time.
This program is intended for Dieppe residents who have adopted or given birth to a child in 2016. A single tree per child will be offered to the parents. In agreeing to plant this tree, the new parents are contributing to the community’s history, beautifying its living environment and making it a healthier place to live for future generations.
New parents may consult the conditions and fill out the request form at dieppe.ca before May 15, 2017.
If your request is accepted, the municipality will contact you to determine what type of tree can be planted on your property based on the available space and availability of the tree species.
