Commercial buildings in Dieppe reach a record high in 2015
DIEPPE (N.-B.) – A total of 512 building permits were issued in 2015, representing a total investment of more than $70 million and surpassing last year’s numbers, i.e. $57 million.
The City of Dieppe successfully ended 2015, having issued a total of 151 permits with commercial projects representing a total investment of $48.6 million, as well as approximately $21.4 million in residential projects.
Louis Godbout, Executive Director, Expansion Dieppe, expressed delight at this year’s economic growth. “We are especially pleased to see that in 2015, he value of building permits increased by 45 % compared to last year, reaching an all-time record of $48 million. Several new projects are already being developed or discussed for 2016, which is good for pursuing Dieppe’s economic growth.”

He says he is delighted by the investments in the building projects that are taking place in every key sectors: downtown, Industrial Park, including Aviation Avenue, as well as Dieppe Boulevard.
