Back to SearchThe City of Dieppe wishes to advise its residents and the general population travelling downtown to plan and limit car travel as much as possible during the August 15 festivities.
Street closures
The following streets will be closed between 5 and 7 p.m. to allow for the passage of the tintamarre route.
- Marché Street, between Gauvin Road and Champlain Street
- Gauvin Road, from Marché Street to Collège Street
- Collège Street, from Gauvin Road to Champlain Street (roundabout)
- Champlain Street, from Collège Street to Acadie Avenue
- Notre-Dame Street (starting at 4 p.m.), from Champlain Street to Sainte-Thérèse Street
The following streets will be closed from 4 p.m. on August 15 to 3 a.m. on August 16
- Notre-Dame Street, from Gould Street to Sainte-Thérèse Street
- Gould Street, from Acadie Avenue to Collège Street
Parking lot closure
The P3 parking lot downtown will be inaccessible between 4:30 and 6 p.m. in preparation for the tintamarre. No entrance or exit will be allowed for security purposes.
Alternative transportation
Codiac Transpo, in collaboration with NB Liquor, will offer free service in the Greater Moncton area, starting at 5 p.m. and a free shuttle service starting at 10:30 p.m. for the return home from the MusiquArt Site. Bike racks will also be available on site for anyone wanting to use this form of transportation.
