Nearly 50 activities taking place during the Dieppe Friendship Carnival
DIEPPE, N.B. — Dieppe will be abuzz from January 30 to February 1 during the Dieppe Friendship Carnival with more than 50 activities in 13 different locations around the city.
There will be something for all tastes and age groups,” said Denis LeBlanc, Special Events Community Officer for the City of Dieppe. “Also, I want to remind everyone that the LEGO Fair will take place at the Boys and Girls Club of Dieppe this year.”
Among the festival’s new features will be an illuminated ice globe competition, snow-ga (outdoor yoga), petting zoo, as well as outdoor concerts with Les Cajuns, Jacques Comeau and Jessica Roy.
“Most daytime activities will take place at Rotary St-Anselme Park, however I invite the public to visit dieppe.ca or to pick up a program for details on exact locations,” Mr. LeBlanc said.
There will also be an ice sculptor, as well as skating, cross-country skiing session, family snowman-making competition, cyclocross, sleigh rides and horse rides, magic show featuring Rémi Boudreau, campfire and much more!
Most activities are free except for the following: adult swims at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre; maple products tasting event; community breakfast; canteen service offered during the Carnival at Rotary St-Anselme Park; and the Troiselle concert being held on Saturday, January 31, at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre.
