Back to SearchDIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe is inviting the public to take part in the participatory budgeting project as a budget delegate. Budget delegates are going to decide which ideas are chosen from residents to be presented to the community for their votes. Voting will be taking place later this fall.
The participatory budgeting project is a municipal initiative that allows residents to bring forward ideas aimed at improving the community and receives funding from the municipality.
Budget delegates must be a resident of Dieppe, be at least 11 years of age or older and attend six to eight meetings between the months of June and October.
The budget delegate orientation sessions are taking place:
- Thursday, June 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Dieppe Room – City Hall
- Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Dieppe Room – City Hall
