Back to SearchDIEPPE, NB — In addition to the events already planned for Acadian Day, the City of Dieppe will be hosting a family celebration at the Rotary St-Anselme Park’s splash pad from 2-6 p.m. Bouncy castles, face painting and a performance by Félix Belliveau are also planned.
The “tintamare” on foot is still scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Rotary St-Anselme Park and will make its way to the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre.
At 6:30 p.m. at Rotary St-Anselme Park, the flag will be raised, followed by a concert featuring several Acadian performers, including Caroline Savoie, Izabelle Ouellette, Dominique Dupuis, Monique Poirier, George Belliveau, Jean-François Breau and Wilfred LeBouthillier; as well as Félix Belliveau, Nadine Hébert and Isabelle Bujold who were just recently added to the program. JC Surette will host the event.
The fireworks display will begin at dusk.
