Tree planting event - CN EcoConnexions
DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce it has been selected to receive a $25 000 grant from the CN EcoConnexions. This program focuses of supporting urban forestry.
CN EcoConnexions – From the Ground Up promotes community sustainability, through the greening of municipal properties at the national level in partnership with Tree Canada and Communities in Bloom. This program helps municipalities and community groups organize days like today’s event.
Residents are invited to bring their shovels and come out to plant a tree Tuesday, June 16 at the Rotary St-Anselme Park starting at 9 a.m. Representatives from the City of Dieppe and CN will also be participating in the tree planting.

A total of 50 trees will be planted at the Rotary St-Anselme Park and another 100 trees on other municipal properties for a final total of 150 trees.
