Back to SearchDIEPPE, N.B. — The trail along the Petitcodiac River is now complete. The City of Dieppe cordially invites residents to its opening on Saturday, September 6, at approximately 1.5 km from the Domaine Dover Estates entrance.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. with an official ceremony, refreshments and prizes for walkers and cyclists.
A shuttle service will also be available from the Club d’âge d’or de St-Anselme (Dover Road) beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The 10-kilometre trail extends from the city’s western limit, just up by Champlain Street, through to Dover Road. Trail users can enjoy the outstanding scenery along the river and observe the pheasants, ducks and other wild animals that make Dieppe their home!
As well, the municipalities of Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview recently had identical signs installed, displaying the distance covered in kilometres. The one-kilometre mark is in Dieppe just up by Dover Road, while the 23-kilometre mark is located in Riverview.
