Boil Order Lifted (August 16, 2023)
DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the boil water order is lifted for all residents from 2135 and 2152, Amirault Street, to city limits, Dover Road, Domaine Dover Estates, Bayview Street and the following streets:

• Freda
• Kristian
• J.F. Bourgeois
• Vézina
• Raphael
• Joanne
• Carter
Here are the measures to take when a boil water order has been lifted:
• Cold interior and exterior water faucets: Run tap water for 10 to 15 minutes.
• Hot water faucets: Run tap water for at least 15 minutes for a 40-gallon hot water tank and at least 30 minutes for a 80-gallon hot water tank or larger.
• Water dispensers from refrigerators should be flushed with at least one litre of water before consumption.
• After flushing hot and cold water pipes, run dishwasher empty one time.
• Discard any water used in humidifiers and rinse the device with clean water.
• Automatic ice dispensers should be emptied of ice made during the boil water order. Then, discard any ice made over an additional 24-hour period to assure that any potential contaminated water has been discarded.
