Babysitting course
The Babysitting Course is geared to youth aged 11 to 15 who want to develop their skills to care for younger children and themselves. The next course will be held on Saturday, July 30, in French. Registration can be done online at clic.dieppe.ca or in person at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre. Contact the reception desk at 877.7881 for more information.

New Brunswick Day
The Aquatic Centre will be closed on Monday, August 1 for New Brunswick Day.
Changes to our swimming lesson program
The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre wishes to inform its clients that the Canadian Red Cross is winding down its swim and lifeguarding programming to focus more on humanitarian demands in other areas, such as disaster and pandemic response, opioid harm reduction and caregiving for seniors.
The Canadian Red Cross is encouraging its water safety training partners to transition to Lifesaving Society Canada programs. The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre is switching to the Swim for Life program this summer. Here are the equivalences:
- Duck becomes Parent and Tot 1
- Sea Turtle becomes Parent and Tot 2
- Sea Otter becomes Parent and Tot 3
- Salamander becomes Preschool 1
- Sunfish becomes Preschool 2
- Crocodile becomes Preschool 3
- Whale becomes Preschool 4
- Level 1 becomes Swimmer 1
- Level 2 becomes Swimmer 2
- Level 3 becomes Swimmer 3
- Level 4 becomes Swimmer 4
- Level 5 becomes Swimmer 5
- Level 6 becomes Swimmer 6
- Level 7 becomes Swimmer 7 - Rookie Patrol
- Level 8 becomes Swimmer 8 - Ranger Patrol
- Level 9 becomes Swimmer 9 - Star Patrol
- Level 10 becomes Swimmer 10 - Bronze Star

Fall session
Fall swimming classes will begin on September 24 for preschool (18 months to 4 years) and swimmer (5 to 13 years) levels and on September 27 for adult classes.
Registration will begin on Monday, August 29 at 6 p.m. for Dieppe residents and on Wednesday, August 31 at 6 p.m. for non-residents. If you don’t have a profile number, which you need to register for a class, you’ll have to create a profile first at clic.dieppe.ca
Registration can be done online at clic.dieppe.ca or in person at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre. Registrations will not be accepted over the phone.
Pool closure
Please note that all Aquatic Centre pools will be closed from Monday, August 22, to Sunday, September 18, inclusive to allow for the replacement of the swimming pool liner and annual maintenance of the exercise and recreational pools.
The reception desk will remain open during this time. A membership extension will be offered to annual and monthly members affected by the closure. See reception for more details.
