Fun on ice is back for a fifth year at Place 1604
DIEPPE, NB — Dieppe's ultimate Friday evening winter activity returns this year with 13 weeks of family fun.
Thanks to the new refrigerated skating oval, the concert series will start a little earlier this year, on December 1, and will take place every Friday evening until March 2. From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Place 1604 will be transformed into a concert stage with a bonfire and free hot chocolate. You will be able to skate on the skating oval to the music of the invited artists.
"We are keeping the same format this year and several new artists have been added to our program. We have a good mix of styles and a variety of artists, including folk, country, rock and disco. We even have two Christmas-themed evenings. This fifth edition shows residents' enthusiasm for this activity. Friday evenings are perfect times to get some exercise, spend time with family and enjoy winter in downtown Dieppe," says Gabrielle Maillet, Community Officer with the City of Dieppe.
