The Aquatic and Sports Centre celebrates its 10th anniversary

It was 10 years ago that one of the most significant municipality projects of this era came to life. Since then, this facility has served the community in a remarkable way and contributed to water safety for youth in the region.

To highlight its 10th anniversary, the Aquatic Centre is offering a special rate for its public and preschool swim sessions, from September 21 to October 27.

Family: $10
Child: $2

In addition, a day of activities is planned for September 21 to celebrate with the community. An observation rally in the Aquatic Centre will be organized with several participation prizes to be won. The first 300 people to complete the rally will receive a free entry for a public swim.

Here is the schedule for the day:

3 to 8 p.m.: Public swim 
3 to 4 :30 p.m.: Race on the Wibit inflatable structure
3:30 to 5:30 p.m.: clown entertainment
4:30 to 6 p.m.: pizza and sweets. Bring your reusable water bottle, the mobile water station will be on site!
6:30 to 8 p.m.: music by DJ
