The Dieppe Friendship Carnival is back with programming for the entire family
DIEPPE, N.B. — The Atmosphere will be festive in Dieppe during the Friendship Carnival, from February 2 to 4, with a host of activities held across the municipality. The official opening ceremony will take place at Place 1604 on Friday, February 2, at 6:30 p.m. Aigles Bleus team members will join us for skating on the oval with music from La Virée. There will also be bonfires and hot chocolate.
"Among this year's new features are two disc golf tournaments to introduce this sport which can even be played in the winter. There will also be a Fatbike demonstration and race, which is a bicycle that can be used in the snow," says Julie Bélanger, Community Officer for the City of Dieppe.
A few activities not to be missed: an intimate evening with Laurie LeBlanc at the Arts and Culture Centre, a sports day at the Boys and Girls Club, and fireworks followed by a bonfire with music by Nobie Jones Band.
Most activities are free and will take place at St-Anselme Rotary Park. Go to dieppe.ca or consult the official program for details.
