Looking for gardeners!
The City of Dieppe’s Community Gardens Program is back! The municipality is seeking approximately 30 families to fill the new spaces in the garden plots at École Mathieu-Martin, a new project launched this year in partnership with the school.
Last year, 85 families and individuals participated in the projects at Rotary St-Anselme Park and on the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre property. Following the success of these gardens, a second community gardens project will be developed, this time on the École Mathieu-Martin property.
“This garden will be ecological, accessible to people with reduced mobility and will have an intergenerational emphasis with many interactions between students and seniors,” said Gabrielle Maillet, Community Officer with the City of Dieppe.
