Major traffic delays expected on Dieppe and Adélard-Savoie Boulevards
DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Dieppe Boulevard will be reduced to one lane only between Highway 15 and Champlain Street beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1st , until Wednesday, July 2, weather permitting. Adélard-Savoie Boulevard will also be experiencing intermittent closures.
Workers will be laying a final layer of asphalt as well as applying pavement markings on this section of the roadway except for the overpass, which is the property of the Province of New Brunswick. The additional work on the overpass will be done later this summer by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
This work will result in major traffic delays, so it is strongly recommended that motorists use alternate routes. As well, other main arteries such as Amirault Street, Adélard-Savoie Boulevard, Acadie Avenue and Champlain Street may experience heavier-than-normal traffic since they will absorb the surplus of vehicles using alternate routes. Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
Please note that all businesses will remain accessible.
The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience and co-operation while this work is being done.
