Back to SearchDIEPPE, N.B. — Children aged 3-12 are invited to take part in the 11th edition of the Children’s Festival to be held at the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre (432 Melanson Road) on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25.
During two afternoons over that weekend, youth will have an opportunity to take part in various artistic, sport and educational workshops, as well as dance and music. Online pre-registration at dieppe.ca is required for each workshop and begins Tuesday, May 13, from 6-8 p.m. and goes until Thursday, May 22, at 4 p.m. for Dieppe residents. Registrations for non-residents will be accepted beginning on Thursday, May 15, at 10 a.m. until Thursday, May 22, at 4:30 p.m.
A schedule of events is available at dieppe.ca or by visiting Dieppe City Hall. Registration is $5 for non-residents and is free for Dieppe residents.
You must first obtain a profile number to register online.
There will also be an area set up for various activity stations where youth are invited to take part free of charge from 1-4 p.m. during both days of the festival. No pre-registration is required for this activity only. Each participating child will be able to have their passport stamped for an opportunity to win a prize.
