Temporary street closures for Santa Claus Parade
DIEPPE, N.B. — The magic of Christmas will spread throughout area streets during the Santa Claus Parade taking place on Saturday, November 22, beginning at 5 p.m. The parade provides an opportunity for people of all ages – children, teenagers and parents – to experience the joys surrounding preparations for this wondrous holiday.
The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street will be closed beginning from the West border of the municipality through to Acadie Avenue. As well, Paul Street will be closed between Champlain Street and the entrance to Champlain Place. The closures are in effect until the Greater Moncton Santa Claus Parade is over.
“The parade takes place an hour earlier this year beginning at 5 p.m.,” says Gabrielle Maillet, community officer for seniors and families for the City of Dieppe. “Don’t miss this beautiful parade filled with bands, majorettes, magnificent decorations and festive music. Of course, we also want people to come out to support the City of Dieppe’s float!”
Everyone welcome!
