Canada Day in Dieppe, A Carnival of Fun!
DIEPPE, N.B. — Come one, come all! If you’re in the area on July 1, come spend Canada Day with us! A carnival of games and activities for the whole family awaits you at Place 1604. Take in the remarkable Art Richard, the fascinating members of La Patente and the astonishing Plywood Joe. And it’s all free!
This year’s Canada Day celebrations at Dieppe’s Place 1604 will have a carnival theme, featuring booths with prizes to be won in games that will test your skill and dexterity. All are welcome!
For younger participants
An afternoon children’s show by Art Richard and bouncy castles are sure to be a hit among the younger crowd, not to mention Canadian-themed cookies that will be available for consumption.
For older participants
Evening performances by La Patente and Plywood Joe will put the older crowd in a festive mood.
“We designed our programming with every member of the family in mind,” says Denis M. LeBlanc, the City’s leisure director, “because Canada’s like a big family where everyone’s welcome.”
The festivities will come to a spectacular close with a traditional fireworks display at 10 p.m. in Moncton’s Riverfront Park. Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview residents and visitors are all invited.
