Tentative agreement reached between the City of Dieppe and the union representing its firefighters
DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe has reached a tentative contract agreement with Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 3515 representing the city’s firefighters.
“We are very pleased to have reached an agreement with the union,” said City of Dieppe chief administrative officer Marc Melanson. “Collaboration and co-operation were key elements in reaching this agreement, demonstrating the good faith on both sides of the negotiations – the employer and the union.”
“This tentative agreement is good for the City of Dieppe, our employees and our residents who will continue to receive fire protection services of the highest quality,” Mr. Melanson said.
Voting on the tentative agreement will take place soon.
