Dieppe`s outdoor cinema series returns this summer
DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe will present three free movies this summer on a giant screen erected at Place 1604.
Screenings begin at sundown.
June 21 movie: Pee-Wee - A 12-year-old hockey player moves to a new city after the tragic death of his mother. He develops a friendship with the female goalie on his new team - a team that wants to take part in the Quebec international Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament at any cost. In French with English subtitles. (Rain or wind date: June 22)
(NEW DATE: JULY 20) July 19 movie: Paul Blart: Mall Cop- A single father living in the suburbs tries to make ends meet as a security guard in a New Jersey shopping centre. During a hostage-taking, he must turn into a real police officer if he wants to become the hero of the day and fix this serious situation. In English with French subtitles. (Rain or wind date: July 20)
August 23 movie: La légende de Sarila (animation) - Famine stikes an encampment of Inuit nomads. Day after day, the hunters return empty-handed. Saya, the clan`s female sage and healer, tells the tale of Sarila, a promised land abounding with game. In French. (Rain or wind date: August 24)
