Back to SearchSNOW REMOVAL - UPDATE - MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16 - Our major arteries and heavily travelled streets (Priority 1) and our collector streets (Priority 2) have all been cleared. Our crews are now concentrating on widening our residential streets (Priority 3). Sidewalks have not been cleared because the amount of snowfall is creating a problem for our sidewalk clearing machines. Snowblowers will be needed to clear sidewalks. Presently, our snowblowers are being used to widen our residential streets and we cannot guarantee when we will be able to start clearing sidewalks.
We are asking motorists to be careful of pedestrians and we are suggesting pedestrians walk facing traffic and wear bright colours.
