Dieppe has a challenge for you!
DIEPPE, NB — As part of its wellness strategy, the City of Dieppe will be organizing the 12-Week Challenge in cooperation with the Province of New Brunswick and the Vitalité Health Network’s public health sector.
This community challenge is a combination of exercise and nutrition challenges to be completed weekly, starting Sunday, September 11 until Saturday, December 3.
“We’ll be at the Arthur -J.-LeBlanc Centre for the joint registration session taking place Saturday, September 10 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to hand out passports that outline each weekly challenge”, says Sonya Babineau, Community Officer, City of Dieppe.
The passports will also be available at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre and City Hall. Each week, the City of Dieppe will post the weekly challenge on Facebook.
Those who complete all nine exercise and nutrition challenges can hand in their passports at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre, earning them an individual pass for public swimming. This offer is valid until December 7.
Furthermore, several participation prizes will be drawn on Wednesday, December 7 for the participants. Prizes include a Fitbit Zip, a Fitbit Charge and five $80 gift certificates from Dietitians in the Kitchen.
