Back to SearchDIEPPE, N.B. — This summer, 234 building permits were issued in Dieppe for a total of $21,595,737. Of those permits issued, 49 were in the commercial sector representing an investment of $11,847,550, while 185 residential permits were issued for $9,748,187.
The following is a list of major projects for June, July and August:

- Mike’s Bike Shop $1,500,000
- BCR Medical Centre Ltd. $1,500,000
- Immeubles Perfection Realty $1,065,666
- Centre de santé Hôpital Dr. Georges-L Dumont Inc. $580,000
- JP’s Garage $446,000
“Both sectors – residential and commercial – are moving forward at a very healthy rate,” said Pierre Dupuis, general manager of the Economic Development Corporation of the City of Dieppe. “Our local entrepreneurs continue to invest in our community. Several other commercial projects are in development, so we are quite encouraged by this.”
Mayor Yvon Lapierre echoed that enthusiasm. “I am pleased to see that the commercial sector has dominated our statistics over the last three months,” he said. “Commercial projects are continuing to be developed in our business zones such as the downtown, the industrial park and along Dieppe Boulevard.”
Since January 2012, a total of 485 building permits have been issued representing an investment of $48,728,640.
