Dieppe celebrating National Public Works Week on social media
DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the National Public Works Week activities scheduled for May 17 to 23 have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
In order to stay connected and to celebrate the essential work carried out by all our community service employees, especially during this difficult period, residents are invited to the Connected Leisure Activities Facebook group on Wednesday, May 20 to download a family activity.
Take the opportunity as well to thank a public works employees via social media. Their role includes ensuring the safety and well-being of all users of the many municipal facilities. Their work has a positive impact every day on residents’ quality of life.
This year’s theme, “The Rhythm of Public Works”, symbolizes the efforts of public works as essential services provided to communities working together in a symphony that creates great places to live!
The Connected Leisure Activities Facebook group is a means for the community to find and share resources about ways to have fun during this period of physical distancing. The City of Dieppe hosts virtual activities there, along with contests, and shares interesting ideas from outside bodies.
