Dieppe Recognizes its Employees during Municipality Week
DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce that it will be marking the second edition of New Brunswick’s Municipality Week, which will take place between September 18 and 24. During the week, Dieppe will recognize the dedication of its employees, who provide quality service day after day to meet the needs of the city’s residents.
“Municipality Week is an opportunity to highlight the services offered to residents and the dedication of our municipal employees, who help improve the quality of daily life in Dieppe,” said Mayor Yvon Lapierre. “We will be launching a contest for the most beautiful photos of Dieppe over the next few days, to showcase what residents like best about their municipality.”
Dieppe will also post employee profiles from various departments on social media. Residents will be able to learn more about Operations Centre mechanics and the City’s planning officers and receptionists, as well as meet the Chief Administrative Officer, who has been working in the municipal world for 35 years.
In addition, recent immigrants to Dieppe will be featured in video vignettes, and the Municipal Week flag will fly at City Hall throughout the week.
The Cities of New Brunswick Association, the Union of the Municipalities of New Brunswick, the Association francophone des municipalités du Nouveau-Brunswick and the Association of Municipal Administrators of New Brunswick have joined forces to develop this week-long celebration to further encourage civic engagement and highlight the role of municipal staff in delivering essential services that enhance the overall quality of life in New Brunswick.
Residents are encouraged to follow the municipality on social media to learn more about the work of staff and how the City operates.
