Dieppe: Fun on Ice lights up the season
DIEPPE (NB) – Fun on Ice, a not-to-be-missed event in Dieppe, will kick off the season in style at 6 p.m. on December 6. Mayor Yvon Lapierre will light up a large fir tree at Place 1604, marking the beginning of holiday season.
Dieppe's Fun on Ice is back for an 11th year. New this year: Mayor Yvon Lapierre and city council will be launching the season of celebrations in style.
Exclusive information: the real Santa Claus will be there to meet you. Don't forget to bring your camera to immortalize this unique moment. Another legend joins the party, Acajoux from Jeux de l'Acadie, who will be on hand to light up Place 1604. Enjoy a sweet treat from the dessert bar!
Launched in 2014, Fun on Ice has introduced local artists and livened up the downtown area. Skating with skate and helmet loans, on-site DJ or band, bonfires and hot chocolate will be on hand again this year.
The series of events is free of charge, for the benefit of as many residents as possible.
Come enjoy winter activities for the whole family at Place 1604 every Friday at 6:30 p.m. from December 6, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
