Dieppe Invites Residents to Share Vision for Future of Rotary St-Anselme Park
DIEPPE (N.B.) — The City of Dieppe invites residents to an open house where they can share their ideas, suggestions and vision for the future of Rotary St-Anselme Park and the services offered there.
The participatory workshop will take place on Tuesday, June 18 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Rotary Pavilion, located at 505 Melanson Road. Participants will be asked to visit various tables and booths, then given the option of writing or drawing their suggestions and ideas on giant cards. Residents can also take part virtually between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
“This is a unique opportunity to share your vision for the development of Rotary St-Anselme Park,” says Raymond Bourque, director of operations. “Residents and organizations have a key role to play in making Rotary St-Anselme Park a space that meets their needs and expectations, and we hope to see a big turnout.”
This initiative is part of the revision of the City’s master plan for parks and green spaces. As the community continues to grow, it’s important to ensure that parks and green spaces meet the needs and aspirations of residents.
Please note that for virtual-only consultation, interested parties must register before June 14 by completing the following form: https://forms.gle/dzYuHuP77ppjABHb9
Created in 1982, Rotary St-Anselme Park features a splash pad, an accessible playground, baseball diamonds, a BMX track, and numerous trails for walking, cycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fatbiking. There’s also the Rotary Pavilion, with its two rooms for community events and family celebrations.
