Back to SearchDIEPPE, NB – The City of Dieppe will be celebrating Leisure Day on Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with free activities at the 55 + Corner located at the Rotary St-Anselme Park.
“I urge all residents to round up their families for an outing and enjoy the free activities”, says Sonya Babineau, Community Officer. “Come out and meet the people who organize your recreational activities and programs throughout the year. June is Leisure Month!”
The public is invited to lace up their sneakers and take part in friendly competitions such as horseshoe, washers, shuffleboard and lawn bowling. Instructors will be on hand to explain the rules of the game.
Face painting and balloon sculpting are also on the agenda.
A free community BBQ will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The day will close with a micromagic show from 12:30-1:30 p.m. with magician Rémi Boudreau.
