Dieppe Celebrates Canada Day in Grand Style at Place 1604!
Place 1604 will host Canada Day celebrations on July 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with outdoor family activities, including the opening of the ConneXion Zone, the brand new summer urban development located on Gauvin Road.
There will be interactive workshops focusing on circus arts, sports and Indigenous culture, among other things. The featured band will be Countryside, and a free BBQ will begin at 11:30 a.m.
This will also be an opportunity to explore the ConneXion Zone, which will be a pedestrian-only area until September 2. There you will find giant games, areas to relax and many activities. It is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends this summer.
The mobile water station will be available to the public for the first time. Acquired as part of the Participatory Budgeting Project, people can drink directly from the station or fill a reusable water bottle.
The traditional fireworks of the three communities, presented by the cities of Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview, will begin at 10 p.m. at Riverfont Park in Moncton.
