Dieppe Celebrates its Seniors
DIEPPE, NB — In cooperation with the Dieppe seniors’ committee, the City of Dieppe is proud to launch a series of activities surrounding the International Day of Older Persons, which takes place on Sunday, Oct. 1. A sold-out dinner at the 55+ Corner will kick off the festivities.
Activities geared to residents aged 50 and over during the week in question will include card and board games at Doiron House from 1 to 6 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 2) and Friday (Oct. 6). Admission is free, and tea and coffee will be served.
The Dieppe Public Library invites you to a trivia-style quiz on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. Participants must register in advance at 506.877.7945.
Aquafitness sessions will be offered at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Friday (Oct. 6) for only $2.
During the week, there will also be a presentation by Hospice Southeast New Brunswick, a presentation on fraud, and a craft workshop.
