Dieppe Celebrates Canadian Multiculturalism Day
DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is pleased to invite residents to its first-ever celebration of Canadian Multiculturalism Day on Tuesday, June 27. Free programming for the whole family, highlighting the city’s cultural diversity, will be available at Place 1604 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Activities will include music and dance from around the world, inflatable play structures, and face painting, as well as a flag-making station. A number of community organizations will be on hand to share information and answer questions.
Canadian Multiculturalism Day pays tribute to the many cultural communities that help build a strong and vibrant Canadian society. Dieppe is proud to be part of such an inclusive and welcoming community. As the largest francophone municipality in New Brunswick, the city continues to work with its partners to increase immigration and ensure the retention of newcomers.
