Dieppe welcomes Interprovincial Shuffleboard Tournament
DIEPPE, N.B. — Nearly 100 shuffleboard players representing the four corners of Canada will meet at the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre from July 22-26 to determine the country’s best players at the Canadian National Shuffleboard Association’s Interprovincial Shuffleboard Tournament.
Members of the public are invited to watch the matches free of charge.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday, July 22
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Practice round
Tuesday, July 23
8:30 a.m. – Opening ceremonies and parade
10:30 a.m. – First match
1 p.m. – Second match
3 p.m. – Third match
Wednesday, July 24
8:30 a.m. – First match
10:30 a.m. – Second match
1 p.m. – Third match
3 p.m. – Fourth match
6:30 p.m. – Athletes will attend Wednesday Show at Place 1604
Thursday, July 25
8:30 a.m. – First match
10:30 a.m. – Second match
1 p.m. – Third match
3 p.m. – Fourth match
Friday, July 26
8:30 a.m. – First match
10:30 a.m. – Second match
1 p.m. – Third match and final
3 p.m. – Match (if necessary)
7 p.m. - Banquet, presentation of trophies and concert by Ti-Blanc Morin. Tickets are available in limited quantities for $25.
