Back to SearchDIEPPE, N.B. – The City of Dieppe is proud to welcome the Olympic bronze medallist in the -81 kg category in Judo at the London Games. Antoine Valois-Fortier will be in attendance at CCNB-Dieppe (community college) at a reception from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, October 12.
The public is invited to meet Antoine to learn more about his Olympic experience.
Antoine began practising Judo at the age of four. His parents registered him for the sport in order to calm some of the young boy’s abundant energy. Antoine will also be sharing his story during visits to Halifax, Toronto, Vancouver and Saskatoon.
